Activate the Bluetooth function of the pairing device and select “Tzumi SoundMates” from device list displayed.You will hear 2 chimes to indicate both earbuds are ready for pairing. Press and hold the multifunction button on both earbuds until you hear the prompt “Power On”.Keep the distance between the device and your SOUNDMATES within 3 feet (for pairing only).Therefore, no pairing will be needed next time you connect. After a successful pairing, devices will memorize each other. If no Bluetooth connection is made within 5 minutes of the earbuds turning on, the earbuds will automatically be switched off to save power. For detailed information, please refer to your device’s User Guide. Specific pairing procedures will be different depending on different smart devices. Make sure the Bluetooth function is available on your device. When the lights begin to flash blue and red or you hear 2 chimes, quickly press the multi-function button TWICE on the earbud you want to be the primary. I've bought the unit from an international overseas dealer, so returning it for replacement would be slow and cumbersome (and probably expensive.NOTE: To change the primary SOUNDMATE, hold the multifunction button on both earbuds. I have tried with several USB cables (the one from my Kindle ebook, the one from my mobile phone.) with no success. And no new device found appears on Device Manager.

I've tried to do a manual firmware update from my PC (Windows 10) and no driver installation window pops up when I connect the device to the PC while pushing the reset button with a paperclip wire (although the power led turns on). I don't see the unit's own wifi SSID, nor is connecting to my wifi router (I checked the router, there's no wifi association or DHCP lease for the Soundmate) The power led is on but the wifi led is off. I switched power again and the initial chime sound ("piiing piiing ping piiiing") plays but nothing else happens. I unplugged/plugged the unit from power so it would reboot, and when it rebooted the female voice you hear when booting started talking but got stuck and kept sounding like a noise loop

While testing, I closed the EZcast app in my Android mobile and next time I tried to connect to the Soundmate it could not be found. I received my brand new Soundmate WM-201 just yesterday and has stopped working
